Get out of your comfort zone-that’s when you grow. Putting yourself in situations that challenge you, expands your conciousness. Let yourself be a newbie, a fish out of water, random curious culture enthusiast- stop caring what people think and live your life to the fullest!
Today is a birthday of the most important person in my life- my mom- Gaga Miko! She listens to me cry for hours and sends me youtube videos to make me laugh, she teaches me how to make mushroom soup and how to drill a hole in a wall through Skype, she supports all my crazy endeavors- never doubting their success, she tells me I look “cute” when my face is puffy…she sends me carrots from Poland in an insulated box, so my food tastes like home. I could go on for hours! Please send her lots of Bday love-she deserves it, as she gives so much of it to others!
If you have interest and hobbies, do things that you love and things that bring you joy, excitement for mind+body, then you won’t look for other people to give you all that. Remember like attracts like. If you create sense of happiness in yourself, you’ll get more happiness, if you’re filled with neediness, you’ll just “need” more:-)
Who knew our little movie “Love and Dance” aka “Kochaj i Tancz” would end up in so many languages all over the world! So cool #BruceParramore #MateuszDamiecki
We have to learn to live with pain. If you’re out there playing the game of life- you will get hurt. You open yourself up to someone, your heart might be broken, you interview for jobs-you might get rejected, you try a new sport- you’ll be walking in pain and your ego might be tarnished cause you’ll look dumb at first. But let yourself fail 99% of the times-that 1% is the sweetest, most exhilarating victory ever!
Nothing like getting hit on by a hot lesbian at Home Depot’s electrical dept, who offered to get me all “wired… ;-);-)” umm…what a hook up central! Must be all that sweat and hardware. Sadly, they don’t sell body paint. Dang it!
Be generous with your spirit. Give your significant other a compliment-they might not realize you still care and admire them. Make a checkout person smile with a joke-they might want to feel acknowledged that day. Notice your kid’s artwork on their notebook-it might give them the courage and confidence to speak up for themselves and contribute to the world in unimaginable ways:-)
So last night I was building a lamp and I guess I didn’t connect all the wires correctly cause I blew a fuse! Does anyone know how to put those 4 wires back together? I basically needed to shorter that part. Those wires look all the same to me, so I just stuffed them into that red thing- apparently- was not the right thing to do:-)
